Current Research: Cycling to Suffrage: The Bicycle and Women’s Rights, 1890-1914

Work in Progress: I am currently continuing my research on women’s cycling history, with the intention of producing a monograph on the subject. I give regular lectures on cycling history, and have contributed to a number of projects and publications on this theme. I am also interested in applying my historical research to modern women’s cycling advocacy. If my research is of interest to your group, please get in touch.

Recent Position: Vera Douie Research Fellow, The Women’s Library, London Metropolitan University (now at LSE)
